What should I wear for my headshots?+
Keep it simple and polished with solid colours like navy, charcoal, black or white. Avoid bold patterns and busy prints that distract or create camera effects. Choose clothes that have shape — fitted rather than baggy — that reflect your profession and personality. Bring multiple outfit options, make sure garments are clean and crease-free, and avoid logos unless they are brand-relevant. Email me your outfit ideas beforehand and I can give feedback in advance.
Do you offer group or corporate headshot packages?+
Yes — group headshot bookings make up the majority of my work across the Auckland area. Pricing is available on the pricing page.
Do you have a studio, or do you shoot on location?+
Both. I work from my Hibiscus Coast studio and also shoot on location, with portable lighting that gives us flexibility wherever we are.
How much do you charge for headshot sessions?+
Individual studio sessions are $300 per person. Group bookings are $150 per person, with a $250 setup fee for smaller teams. Full details are on the pricing page.
How long does a typical headshot session last?+
Sessions range from three minutes to one hour. Group bookings are typically three minutes per person for shooting, plus around five extra minutes if you are selecting images for editing on the day.
What is included in your headshot photography package?+
Individual packages include a 20-minute guided studio shoot, up to two outfit changes, and three fully edited headshots. Group packages include on-site or studio shooting, 5–15 minutes per person, and one fully edited high-resolution headshot.
How do you help people feel comfortable in front of the camera?+
I guide you on posture, eye direction and hand placement, creating a relaxed and supportive experience. Most people feel nervous before a shoot — my job is to make it easy.
How many photos will I receive, and can I choose the final images?+
The number varies by package. You always know upfront what is included, and you have a chance to choose your favourites.
Can you accommodate specific image sizes or formats for professional profiles?+
Yes. High-resolution shots can be resized for platforms like LinkedIn.
What is your turnaround time for delivering final edited photos?+
Three days for individuals who select their headshots during the shoot, and one to two weeks for corporate groups. Let me know if you need a faster turnaround and I will do my best to accommodate it.
Do you retouch the photos, and can you make me look natural?+
Yes. Retouching is done naturally — removing distractions like blemishes without heavy airbrushing — so you look polished, confident, and completely like yourself.
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?+
One free reschedule is available. Cancelling a booking means losing the paid retainer, as I hold two time slots for you and may turn away other clients.
